Weight vs mirror workout

It always amuses me, to spy on unsuspecting people at the gym who are more focussed on viewing their muscles in the mirror, than they are on actually getting a good workout. The other fun one, is to watch people taking a cheeky peek at themselves in the shop windows as they walk on by.

Ever caught someone or been caught out your self?

If the mirrors in my workout room could talk while I’m doing a dance workout DVD, they’d struggle to get any words out in between their fits of laughter. 🙂

I never feel any real need to look at myself for looking sake. Sometimes you have to, for combing hair and such. I’m not scared of my reflection, just not a narcissist. I have seen people that sure did seem to like looking at themselves, though… and I could never figure it out. Even if you look good, you’re still looking at yourself! I don’t get it.

Gosh, I have not been to the gym for ages. I have a one and one Yoga session in a room with no mirrors. Don’t want to see anyone or myself all the ugly contortion going.

You know what the saddest part of looking at they self? Using the iPhone to constantly prime and women is know for this. Yikes!

I went a yoga class for the first time a few weeks ago – lots of side mirrors – maybe so I could check out my woeful warrior stance 🙂
