I always wondered why it was a glass ceiling… I’ll have to look that up. I grew up in a strange time (born in 1970) because from my perspective it never has made any sense to make decisions about people with regards to color or gender… and yet at the same time I see undeniably that many people do make these decisions all the time. It perplexes me, and yet I know it to be a real thing. People… they are weird creatures.

You’re right, I never got the glass bit either. It brings up so many other ideas in my head, like, people in glass houses shouldn’t through stones. If I were to build a corporate ceiling, I’d make it from steel and reinforced concrete and place a big padlock on the trap door entrance

  • Well, if the ceiling does have to be replaced, perhaps a hatch can be added to allow access up for some, and for others a way down!
