bargraph

Does your desk look like a bar graph?

Maybe it’s logarithmic or exponential. What about those pie charts and bubble graphs; where do they fit into this equation?

My physical desk doesn’t look like that, but my virtual desktop does!

I can’t concentrate if my desk is too cluttered. But it does then become a good way of procrastinating – tidying up my desk rather than doing any real work! I guess the answer would be not to let my desk get messy in the first place 🙂

Procrastination is my middle name. I must admit, I feel a lot better after a good desk clean – home, work and even the kitchen bench!

I think my workspace looks cluttered to normal people. When it begins to look cluttered even to me, that’s when I know I’ve gotten out of control. But I do tend to make piles that are nearer to me proportional to how often I use them… and piles are high if they have a lot of infrequent stuff on the bottom… which should mean I don’t need most of the pile, but there you go.

I did a big clean up of my desk a few weeks ago, and there was such a pile of rubbish at the bottom. I hadn’t missed it for over a year, and I thought it still wouldn’t be missed if I moved it into the recycle bin pile
