If objects could talk

This cartoon got me thinking…

…What other objects could I draw and what does their language look like

Any ideas?

I don’t know about language… but I always like objects that kind of look like you can find a face in them… like electrical outlets kind of look like small faces.

I can understand the binary, or a song in my head, or the Go getter or scrambled eggs. What is the two lights? The xxx is that artistically inclind? How about spagehetti with meatballs. 🙂

Looks like I failed in my drawing. It’s a traffic light, so it talks in light to reflect which signal it is showing.

I like the idea of meatballs; the spaghetti could talk in little balls; neatly uniting the two

What I always imagine is if they could talk, what objects would tell us about all the things they’ve witnessed over the years/ centuries. Objects have such long lives compared to us, if only buildings, paintings, cutlery and musical instruments could tell us what they had seen!

Yes, it’s an inspiring concept. With that idea, I can think of a few objects from a different perspective and feel overwhelmingly sorry for them.

Not an object, but an animal…I always wondered about Darwin’s tortoise that somehow ended up in Australia zoo – imagine what he witnessed.
