When the boss makes you work through the rain

Well, you might think what an absurd invention, but there are other takes on the humble umbrella.

Check out patent USD324117 below with its unique patent claim of ‘the ornamental design for a dog umbrella, as shown and described. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a dog umbrella showing my new design, it being understood that the broken lines are for illustrative purposes only and form no part of the claimed design’

So what do you think? Is your pampered pooch in need of one of these?

I have to think very few dogs would be happy inside that thing for long even if they somehow realized it was protecting them from the rain!

I actually got tired of trying to use umbrellas myself. More times than not, the wind was blowing and you had to fight the umbrella plus you still get wet anyway… and you have to remember to take your umbrella with you everywhere… it just got tiresome, so I stopped worrying about getting rained on a long time ago.

I hear you. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with my umbrella. Quite often rain comes with wind here in Melbourne, so it ends up being a battle in the rain.

Once I realized that I, unlike the Wicked Witch of the West, didn’t melt in the rain… it was a lot easier. An umbrella is also another thing you have to carry around inside wherever you go so that’s aggravating too. Maybe I need to invent a better, more convenient umbrella for the modern world… hmm… something to ponder.
