I remember seeing it in real life back in my twenties when I travelled Europe after finishing my university studies. I recall being overwhelmed by the sheer size of it, which although you realise when you study it in a text book, you don’t fully appreciate until you see it in real life. He even painted parts of it in real gold, which no text book can reproduce.
