  • This reminds me of someone I know who once said to his doctor, “You better not find anything wrong with me.” The doctor didn’t know if he was joking and I’m not sure either.

    I haven’t always been comfortable in my own skin, but it wasn’t the mirror’s fault. I never “got” the problem people talk of having trouble looking in the mirror. If I was self-conscious or embarrassed of ashamed of something, I didn’t have to look in the mirror to feel that… so not looking at myself didn’t mean I wasn’t still “looking” at myself.

      Interesting. I have neither a love or hate relationship with the mirror – it’s just there to do a job… however, having said that…those mirrors with the awful neon lights above in shop change rooms I can’t bare. They can’t help but make you look terrible
