Introducing Vitruvian Man
Let me guess, you’ve always wondered the name of this man?
For my sixth Art of series, I couldn’t help but play with this iconic drawing by Leonardo da Vinci. He looks great dressed with a tea towel…
…and even better with an apron, armed with beater and wooden spoon…
But let’s start with the story behind Vitruvian Man

Can you guess the name of the original piece of art and by whom?
I’m very excited to be releasing my 5th piece of work in The Art of Series
This side project involves reinterpreting timeless art favourites through a cartoon filter and transporting it into modern living. It fuses iconic works of art with everyday life by incorporating the actual product (such as a tea towel, wall clock or phone case cover) within the context of the art illustration. In this way, I hope to bring some fun to everyday life when interacting with common household products… Yes, dish drying, can be fun!

…I’ll let you be the judge…
Speaking personally, bad hair days I can cope with; but the first day I spotted a grey hair took the concept to a whole new level. No longer was it confined to the constraints of a day, this was the beginning of a journey I was not mentally prepared for. So I did what any sensible person in denial would do…I plucked it out.
How do you deal with bad hair days?
When the cloud terminology initially made its presence known, I must admit I was a bit confused. I mean, clouds are up in the sky; so what’s with gravity constrained servers hanging up there too? But as time has past, I’m now clearer than ever before. In fact, I put this little cloud pictogram together to help those of you still in the dark.
What do you think?
Sound familiar…Or should that be look familiar?
This cartoon was inspired by the online conference calls I make as part of day to day work in the office these days. However, it was when I reflected on the now 14 million+ YouTube views video A conference call in real life, that I thought to myself, how would I convert the idea into 2D cartoon form.
Do you make online conference calls at work?
What funny things happen to you in those calls? Who knows, I might turn it into a cartoon.
The Cambridge dictionary definition for daydreaming is “a series of pleasant thoughts about something you would prefer to be doing or something you would like to achieve in the future”
Lately, I’ve been daydreaming of winning Tatts and thinking of all the things I would do with the prize money.
