…I’ll let you be the judge…
Speaking personally, bad hair days I can cope with; but the first day I spotted a grey hair took the concept to a whole new level. No longer was it confined to the constraints of a day, this was the beginning of a journey I was not mentally prepared for. So I did what any sensible person in denial would do…I plucked it out.
Bad hair days are why I keep my hair long: I can always resort to a ponytail!
Hope you’re doing well. Great cartoon. 🙂
Mmm, good strategy Carrie, I’ll pop it in the back of my mind for next time.
PS. thanks for popping by. Miss your input. Have a great festive season if I don’t hear from you sooner.
It took me a moment to get your cartoon, but when I did I found it hilarious! I think the “wearer” of the bad hair notices it more than other people — at least I hope other people don’t!
Thanks GD…is that because it was a bit too close to home? 🙂
I’m not sure if answering your question is a good idea. Let’s just say I miss the time when I was young, when I would wake up, comb my hair with my hands and be happy with the results. Youth really is wasted on the young!
Ah rest assured GD, your sharing is just between you, me and the internet. I often reflect on what mother nature had in mind when it came to youth. I think the wisdom of age was a way of balancing the two, not so that one group had it all. Here’s to wisdom! Cheers!
Great cartoon Marti!! I’ve stopped worry ing about grey hairs – there are just so many of them 🙁
Ah, nothing a bit of colour and highlights won’t fix! You know, to tell you the truth, it’s not the grey/white that is the issue, it’s the fact that the hair seems to change its molecular structure and go from smooth and pliable to hard and wirey (if that’s a word)
