Weird,I was just reading the novel,”We Need to Talk About Kevin” ,where the mother is in the soup isle and thinks to herself,”…and so I meditated on the Campbell’s asparagus and cheese,thinking aimlessly how Warhol would be appalled by the redesign”,when I got an e-mail alert telling me about this new cartoon of yours.
If you have seen the movie version of the book then you would know the tomato soup cans and tomatoes feature quite a bit in the movie,in fact if you watch the trailer you’ll see the mother standing in front of a whole shelf full of tomato soup cans.
I bought the book when the author Lionel Shriver was out here a few months ago doing Q&A about her books and got her to sign a copy for me.
Thank heavens my oldest son Kevin is nothing like this monster in the book.

Race Riot, 1964 – inspired by pictures of a notorious civil rights protest in Birmingham, Alabama – went for $62.9m (£37.3m) at Christie’s in New York.
The 1962 painting White Marilyn, completed shortly after Marilyn Monroe took her life, sold for $41m (£24m).
