What to place in a time capsule

Phew! It’s not that bad after all 🙂

It’s been a while since I talked about time capsules. The last time, was here on this Andy Warhol cartoon.

So, I’ve shown you my time capsule, what would you put in yours?

Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe a picture of me with my big hair in the 80s and my mullet in the early 90s so that future generations wouldn’t repeat these same mistakes.

Oh, so you were an 80s hair victim too – I had a delightful 80s perm. My hair has never quite recovered from all those toxic chemicals.

My problem, as it seems to be for most people, is… if I put anything really good in there I’d want it back! So I’m more likely to put something I don’t want anymore in there.. then some person a hundred years from now would find it and think it was a popular thing!

    • Marti says:

Ah, you’re too cruel… Maybe some smart cookie would find in the deep dark archives of Google and realise you’re just having a lend of them. 🙂

There was a time capsule in front of a movie theater around here… I remember seeing the plaque when I was a kid (it had been buried before I was born)… but at some point I forgot about it and forgot when the time for the capsule opening was supposed to be… that movie theater is long gone, so I hope nobody forgot about the time capsule!

What an interesting story – you need to solve the mystery and find out what happened to that time capsule.

Where have I been? Egad, I don’t know any of these! But I do remember people dancing in group line doing the achy breaky heart . I can’t seem to follow the steps.

    • Marti says:

Well, I’ve never danced to Achy break heart either – I suspect we’re not missing out there 🙂
