Behind the scenes…
To get to the end product, I had a couple of meetings with the client to better understand the problem. In the first session we flow mapped the process undertaken by employees to create a proposal. This created a sequence of steps that was then used in a metaphorical story of the reality faced by people.
The second session involved reviewing the proposed story line and was presented in rough hand sketches (see below). Some additional tweaks were made and the final product was drawn digitally and imported into Microsoft Power Point.
