This cartoon was one of the first Fact or Fiction cartoons I came up with. I like the idea, but possibly its a bit obscure if you are not aware of the reason behind the colouring of the flamingo’s feathers. The feathers are actually dyed by the food they eat, which contains carotene, giving their plumage a soft pink hue.

Great to be back, but in a slightly different format. This is my new cartoon site called Just Outside the Box cartoon. I had a site called Fact or Fiction cartoon and the inital posts on this site come from there, but altered to fit in the new format.
I hope you enjoy the site. Subscribe if you’re up for a chuckle a day – it could make Monday’s more palatable by starting with a joke.
