Liz married 8 times (one she remarried, making it 7 husbands), but in the celebrity stakes, Zsa Zsa Gabor beat her by one, marrying 9. If you exclude celebrities, then a grandmother from Indiana, Linda Wolfe, must take the ultimate ‘prize’, having been married 23 times.
Well, at least they divorced their husbands, unlike Henry the VIII’s disposal method…
I remember learning the saying,
“Divorced, beheaded, died,
Divorced, beheaded, survived”
